Fellow Travellers, Tangible Travel Log 31st March 2009
Shannon Stop Over! en route to where? At Tangible Ireland we realise we are living in a global economy thus we have arranged our Tangible Flight Plan 2009 to land in:
New York City on Thursday, the 7th May 2009.
All indicators are that the US economy will be the first to demonstrate real growth and we not only want to be part of it but also want to encourage our American cousins/friends/entrepreneurs to rebuild their economic future. The 'rising tide will raise all the boats' but it is important that we have our boats in the water to avail of the lift when it inevitably arrives. Building connections and forging relationships is the key to going forward be it in the technology, engineering, property, education, tourism, infrastructure , financial sectors etc..
In New York we will be encouraging passengers to also attend the first boardroom lunch of The Presidents' Club (http://www.the-presidents-club.com ) on US soil and go on to support the New York Ireland Fund Dinner ( http://www.irlfunds.org ) on the the Evening of the 7th May 2009.
The Friends of Belfast and the Friends of Limerick in New York are also keen to make new connections and help us all revitalise the economy in Ireland and the USA.
In the meantime before we travel please note that the Ireland US Council ( http://www.irelanduscouncil.com/ ) is hosting a lunch in Dublin on Wednesday the 29th April 2009.
Depending on your business interests we will strive to assist you in making your connections productive as possible.
If you are attending the Shannon Stop Over! on this THURSDAY, dining out in Dublin or flying direct to New York in early May every which way it's time to make plans and take off!
